]]> Red wine lovers, rejoice — National Red Wine Day is here, and we’re raising a glass (or two) to the bold, the beautiful, and the beautifully bold!

  1. Enjoy a specially priced red wine and chocolate pairing at the Tasting Room! For just $13, choose your favorite glass of red wine and pair it with your choice of a handcrafted Cocoa Blue Chocolate truffle.
  2. Pair it with dinner. Whether it’s pasta, steak, or a cozy charcuterie board, a glass of red is always a good idea.
  3. Gather your friends and host a blind tasting with 3 or 4 of your favorite August Hill red wines. We have 9 AHW red wines to choose from!
  4. Try a sparkling red wine, our ISC Ruby Red.
  5. Stop by the August Hill tasting room and enjoy a red wine flight.

]]> Join us at the Tasting Room as we introduce Love, Mom, a new August Hill wine inspired by someone very special to our winery family.

The name comes from a simple memory of winemaker Mark’s mom, Betty. She often left treats for Mark and his siblings with a Post-it note signed, “Love, Mom.” That tradition of showing she cared through food continued at the winery, where Betty was known for bringing homemade food and treats for the crew on busy harvest and bottling days.

Love, Mom was created in that same spirit: a little something special, made to share with someone you care about.

During this release experience, Mark will share more of the story behind Love, Mom as you enjoy a glass of this sweet apple wine with caramel and almond flavors. You’ll also enjoy a selection of small bites chosen to complement the wine, along with a surprise or two throughout the experience.

Come raise a glass with us to a new wine, the woman who inspired it, and the memories that continue to be part of August Hill.

Step inside our working winery caves—built into the hillside—where your favorite August Hill & ISC wines are crafted and aged. Enjoy a guided wine journey with a small group (up to 20 guests, approximately 45 minutes), featuring six hand-selected wines and a signature tasting glass to take home. Along the way, enjoy a featured pairing of our Augie’s Blackberry wine with a chocolate bite.
Tickets are $30 per person; $20 for Insider Wine Club members (limit 2 discounted tickets per day).

Reserve a Spot:
Cave Tastings are offered seasonally on Saturdays and Sundays at 12 pm, 2 pm, and 4 pm. Space is limited, so we recommend reserving in advance. Click here to reserve your spot.

The reservation will be for the day (12-5 pm on Saturdays; 12-5 pm on Sundays). The space will include two adirondack chairs, an umbrella for shade, a 30 quart cooler with ice, 2 bottled waters, and a small variety of snacks.
